Therefore we are on the look out for new Team Members for our Perth Office who can help us ensure CapitalQ is a fun place to work, while assisting us to provide great customer service to our CapitalQ Community Members (our Clients).

We are seeking an experienced administrator who is ambitious and who wants to be part of something, we hope, is going to be BIG! 

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will be bright, funny and genuinely someone others want to be around.

They will also be capable of, and most importantly eager to, work independently, take personal responsibility and seek out ways to continually improve both themselves as well as our business.

The role is titled “Client Services Assistant” and will be multifaceted, but key responsibilities will include –

i) Assisting with our marketing function including;

 – managing the Client life cycle from Target, Lead, Prospect to Client.

– Assisting with social media management.

– Managing our Client referral system.

– Managing the New Client on boarding process.

ii) Practice Management database management.

iii) Managing Annual Company Statements and Corporate Secretarial (Australian Securities & Investments Commission) matters.

iv) Sending completed Client work packages.

v) Phone and Office visitor attendance support.

The Non-Negotiables

However, to give you some idea of who we are, which ultimately will be a factor when trying to determine whether you will be a good fit within our Team, we –

i) Believe in being a “life long learner”. And while reading is generally our preferred method of learning, regardless of how you learn best, we hope you are dedicated to continual learning and improvement. And we don’t mean in that throw away, clich`ed way. We mean you are dedicating time each day to learn and advance yourself.

ii) Believe Accountants are traditionally terrible at marketing and being able to provide real business improvement advice, so we aim to be the change.

iii) Believe there are non-negotiables when it comes to servicing our Community Members and when it comes to working within our Team including –

  • calls and emails are always returned, without exception, and promptly. And tough calls are made first!
  • commitments made (to clients, to Team Members, to anyone) are always met (“I forgot” will never be acceptable).
  • tax returns, or any other compliance obligation, are never lodged late.
  • each individual within our Team is genuinely empowered to do what is required to service our Community Members to the expected high standard. But with that empowerment comes responsibilities.
