Pavan is the newest addition to the CapitalQ Team

Baptism of Fire

Pavan is the newest addition to the CapitalQ Team having joined just as the surrealness of the pandemic hit our shores.

It was certainly one of the most difficult introductions to a new role one can imagine, but as a growing number of the CapitalQ Community can attest, he has risen to the challenge.

The Boring but Important Stuff

Pavan is a qualified Chartered Accountant (“CA”) and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand with a Bachelor in Business majoring in Accounting.

He is also currently working towards completing the Chartered Tax Advisor (“CTA”) qualification with The Taxation Institute of Australia, the countries’ premier tax professional body.

With over 8 years of experience in providing business advisory and taxation services to small to medium Australian businesses Pavan considers himself lucky to have been mentored by a number of highly skilled professional advisers within some of Australia’s most respected firms.

Small Business Focus

Pavan advises “throughout my career, I have always focused on small businesses, as I believe that they are the backbone of our economy and I believe I can make a real difference to their owners. “I am well aware of the trials and tribulations business owners go through to make their enterprise a success.”

After Hours

Privately, Pavan spends most of his free time with his family and friends.

He and his wife, Malshi have a little son (Leon) who manages to keep them both on their toes.

“I love the natural beauty of Australia and love exploring the national parks, deserts, billabongs and waterfalls, whenever I get a chance.

“After earning my bachelor’s degree and working for a couple of years in Melbourne, I thought that it was time to explore the outback of Australia.

“I was so excited when I received a job offer from a highly respected national firm in their Darwin Office. I lived in the Northern Territory for 4 years just so that I could explore Kakadu, Litchfield, Katherine, Alice Springs and Uluru. My wife and I are proud to say that we have been to almost all the waterfalls, springs and national parks in the NT, including a couple of croc-jumping cruise trips!

“My wife and I made the decision to move to WA as we always wanted to settle here due it’s peaceful communities & natural beauty. It’s also home to my spiritual and meditation mentor, a Buddhist monk based in a forest monastery in Serpentine.”

South West Bound

We are pleased to confirm, Pavan’s adventures throughout the regions of this great land are to continue as he has been tasked with meeting the needs of our newest CapitalQ Community Members throughout WA’s South West as the resident adviser at our new office in Vasse (which will open any day now so watch this space).

We wish him all the best with this new challenge.
