Professional profile

After working in various finance roles overseas, I finally completed my university studies at Curtin University in 2019 before commencing as a Graduate Accountant at Delta Wealth and Tax Solutions.

But when my development stalled, I decided I needed a new environment where I would be encouraged to expand my professional skills.

And so when offered the chance to join the Team at CapitalQ, I grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

I am now working directly under the tutelage of Kapil and enjoying every minute of it.

I had already commenced my CPA studies before joining CapitalQ, but once my current unit is completed I intend to transition across to both the Tax Institute’s Chartered Tax Adviser program as well as the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand CA Program – all with the view to qualifying as a ‘Chartered Accountant’ within the next couple of years.

Personal profile

Aside from accounting, I am an aspiring amateur barista (being very much a lover of coffee), and so I have taken ownership of the fancy new coffee machine in the office.  My latte art is coming along nicely.

I was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where the majority of my family remain.  But I am lucky enough to have both my brother and a cousin here with me in Perth.

I love shopping, reading and music.

I’m really not very sporty, online gaming is as close as I come to the sports field.  And the dance floor is where I get my best exercise 😉
