The formal element of the event will strictly adhere to a two hour schedule kicking off at 4.15pm sharp (please arrive at 4pm so we can avoid delays) and ending at 6.15pm.

Wine, cheese and crackers will be provided thereafter while attendees network and share ideas.

We strongly encourage all attendees to participate in the post event informalities.

FAQ

Is the Workshop Free?

Absolutely! Entry is entirely free. But we do require you to Register if you wish to attend (so we can manage numbers, catering, etc).

Do I have to be a Client of CapitalQ to attend?

Absolutely not, the Workshop is open to everyone with no obligations or strings attached, so please if you are interested, register and come along, we are sure you will get something out of it, if nothing else, a free drink 😉

What if after registering I can’t make it?

Remember as Charlie Munger (Business partner of Warren Buffet) says “if a person can’t be relied upon to meet small commitments, no one will rely on them to meet big ones”.

So if you aren’t sure you are committed to actually attending on the day, kindly do not register until you are sure!

If however, due to a last minute emergency, you simply can’t make it we are happy (and eager) for someone to attend in your place, preferrably someone familiar with and involved in the day to day operational decisions for your business or otherwise an independent business owner with whom you hold a relationship.

The event will be presented by Duncan Melbin (CapitalQ Founder and Director and Marketing Chief) and Kapil Bhasin (Chief Tax Saving Strategist and Senior Client Manager).

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Our Office is easily accessed from the Graham Farmer Freeway via the East Parade exit.

There is street parking in all directions from our Office. You shouldn’t have too much trouble finding a spot within 100 metres. Parking on Royal Street will get you closest, though it tends to be easier to find spots on Leahy Walk and Brooke Street (by Claisebrook Lake). In the unlikely event the streets are particularly busy on the day, the City of Perth Regal Place carpark is located on the corner of Royal Street and Plain Street a five minute walk east of our Office.

Alternatively the Yellow Cat from the City (running along Wellington Street) stops within 100 metres of our Office in either direction.

What can I bring into the event?

You are welcome to take notes, however work desks are not provided. Photos, video and audio recordings are however not permitted.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we will have all attendees recorded, so a printed ticket is not required.
